An exhibit of sculptural ceramic vessels and wallpieces by Ron Starr of Zurich, Illinois.
The reception for the artist will be held on Friday evening, Jan. 30, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The artist, Ron Starr, will present a gallery talk about his work.

"Designing On...and Off the Grid"

A collaboration between furniture maker, Peter Czuk, and weaver, Nancy Crampton, both from the Kalamazoo, Michigan area. Through their furniture and woven rugs, wall-hangings and pillows, they will speak to the idea that much design takes place with parallel and perpendicular lines so that when a curved line is superimposed on this grid it gains importance.

"Ornament and Excess"

A series of oil paintings by Massachusetts painter, Maren Bell. The exhibit will feature small trophy paintings that juxtapose decorative plaques with ornamental birds, also, patterned textile paintings manipulated and combined with animals.
