Bruce Miller, an East Lansing artist, will present a grouping of wood carvings based on the forcola, the oar lock of the Italian gondola.

Elizabeth Cox, a Williamston, Michigan artist, will present a flock of birds, both standing and flying, created using all recycled materials and suitable for use outdoors.

Mackerel Sky’s 20th Anniversary Invitational Exhibit—a collection of works by some of the artists who have had exhibits at Mackerel Sky during the past 20 years. A reception to celebrate the Anniversary will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2010 from noon until 4:00 p.m.

Kim Kauffman, a Lansing, Michigan artist, will presenrher new body of work. Kim was Mackerel Sky’s first exhibiting artist in 1990.

The Dewitt, Michigan artist, Peggy Szasz, will present a new collection of original appliqued quilts.
