The Story Behind the Recipe Card: Our Gift of Thanks 13 years ago we brainstormed to find a way to give our customers a gift at the holidays that would be an extension of ourselves and not something that might be perceived as an urging to shop. The result was a recipe card using one of Linda's recipes and a photo of that food by our friend, the wonderful photographer Kim Kauffman. Linda caters the food for our opening receptions and often has requests for the recipes. It was startling to discover recently that many people didn't realize the recipe cards were original creations made just for this purpose - hence, our explanation. These cards are a collaboration that allows us to share our love of food, love of art and the artful presentation of food, and food as a joyful expression of life. They are a thank you for and a celebration of the interconnectedness of our lives. This year's recipe will be the 13th in the series.
